Cancer touches all of us — our families, our friends, our communities. It’s a big word and more than just a diagnosis — it’s a massive journey that often shows depth we didn’t even know possible especially in areas of faith, courage, hope, and strength. 
In this photo is my own sister Rachele as well as our sweet former neighbor Mckenzie. Both of them are on their own journeys fighting cancer. To those of you going through something similar — we want to say we see you. 

The new design is a little tribute by Kenji, with a lot of help from Rachele for the vision in it. The butterfly reminds us of transformation and beauty even in the ashes, the Mountains remind us of the multiple seasons. The times of grit and struggle and courage during the ascent, the mountain top moments of taking in the view from the top of the world and breathing it all in, as well as the joy of descending and not being in a hurry to a destination - while we process the moments on the downhills of a trail. There is so much more in the design, but for now we want to remind every one of you…

As many of you have heard my favorite illustration is found in the sunsets and sunrises… when those colors just blow our minds… where we don’t have the tendency to say “well we better earn that sunset” because deep down we all know it is a God-given free gift to watch a beautiful sunset. Through every season your value is much more like that sunset than like an accomplishment or goal. The rare gift was true before the ups or downs of all our seasons of life.
This design has already helped us raise thousands to help needs the journey of cancer, which we love to be a part of - but we truly want this shirt to be a small way any of us can show we care and meet each other where we are... in every season, in any diagnosis, in daily walk of life.
